Project overview
A Fortune 500 manufacturing firm relocating its India headquarters to a new tower in Chennai engaged AVIPRO Technologies to design and install an executive boardroom suite comprising a primary 24-seat boardroom, two flanking breakout rooms, and a CEO video-conferencing office. The client demanded a premium, brand-aligned environment that would impress global visitors and support seamless multi-site collaboration.
The challenge
The client's global AV standard mandated Zoom Rooms as the primary conferencing platform, while the Indian IT team had standardised on Microsoft Teams. Reconciling both ecosystems in a single room — without compromising the clean aesthetic the interior designer had specified — required careful system architecture. Cable management and in-wall routing also had to be completed before the fit-out contractor sealed the walls.
Our solution
AVIPRO specified a dual-platform room controller that switches between Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams at the touch of a button, driving a 135-inch direct-view LED wall and a secondary 75-inch display for content sharing. A Shure MXA910 ceiling array microphone and Biamp Tesira DSP deliver boardroom-grade audio clarity. All cabling was pre-routed through conduit during the construction phase, resulting in a completely cable-free surface finish.
