Project overview
A global technology company expanding its Bangalore campus engaged AVIPRO Technologies to standardise the collaboration technology across its new 8-floor, 120-meeting-room facility. The client required a consistent, intuitive meeting room experience that would work identically whether an employee was in Bangalore, Dubai, or San Francisco.
The challenge
The campus was designed with four distinct room typologies — huddle pods (2–4 people), standard meeting rooms (6–8), large conference rooms (12–16), and a 200-seat all-hands space — each requiring a different AV specification. The client's global IT team had mandated Microsoft Teams Rooms as the sole platform, but required BYOD capability for visiting clients using other platforms. The 12-week delivery window overlapped with the fit-out contractor's programme, requiring precise coordination.
Our solution
AVIPRO developed a four-tier room standard, each with a defined equipment list, cable schedule, and commissioning checklist. Huddle pods received a Logitech Rally Bar Mini; standard rooms a 75-inch display with Poly Studio X50; large conference rooms a 98-inch display with Shure ceiling array and Biamp DSP; the all-hands space a dual-screen setup with a 32-channel audio system. All rooms were configured for Microsoft Teams Rooms with a BYOD HDMI input on every table.
Our employees can walk into any meeting room on any floor and have the same seamless experience. AVIPRO's standardised approach has eliminated the technology friction that used to derail our meetings.
